Location: Marbella, Spain (Candidates must already be based in nearby and hold the necessary work permits)

• When the family is not in residence: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
• When the family is in residence: Flexibility required, including weekends and overtime (compensated with time off when the family is away)

Salary: 30,000€ to 36,000€ gross per year un 12 payments.

The Family & Household

A lovely family of four—a couple and their two adult children—is searching for an experienced Housekeeper / House Manager to manage and maintain their residence in Marbella to the highest standards. The family doesn’t live in Marbella full-time, typically visiting for stays of 7 to 14 days at a time, either together or independently.

This is a live-out position, candidates must already be based in or around Marbella.

The role requires a hands-on approach to daily housekeeping duties while also overseeing the property, especially in the family’s absence, ensuring smooth operation and coordination with vendors, contractors, and household services. This is currently the first and only staff position within the household, though the team may expand in the future.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Property Management

• Maintain the villa’s cleanliness and organization to the highest standard.
• Carry out daily housekeeping duties, including deep cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
• Care for high-end furnishings, delicate fabrics, and luxury finishes.
• Prepare the house before the family’s arrival and ensure it is well-maintained during their stay.

Property Oversight & Vendor Liaison

• Supervise the property when the family is away, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Coordinate and oversee small repairs, refurbishments, and routine maintenance.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers as needed.

Cooking (Highly Valued)

• The ability to prepare simple, nutritious meals is a strong advantage.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light cooking when required.

Candidate Profile

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in private households, luxury hotels, or similar high-end environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Languages

• Fluency Spanish and English is required.
• Russian language skills are a huge advantage.

Other Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (essential for running errands and household-related tasks).
• Must already be based in the area and hold the necessary legal work permits.
• This role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the family’s changing schedule.
