The Family
A lovely, young family in Marbella is urgently seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their sweet 2.5-year-old boy, who has a younger sibling with their own dedicated nanny.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, and capable of fostering a loving and structured environment while encouraging the toddler’s independence and social-emotional growth. Creating a positive sibling bond is also a key part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and follow the toddler’s established routine, including meals, naps, and activities.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate developmental activities, including imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and early learning exercises.
- Work as part of a team with the rest of Nannies and under the Nanny Team Leader.
- Organize fun and engaging educational outings such as visits to parks, the zoo, museums, or nature walks.
- Encourage the toddler’s independence with self-care tasks like dressing and tidying up after play.
- Support gentle sibling interaction, fostering a loving bond between the two children.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the toddler when chef is off duty.
- Assist with occasional travel, ensuring the toddler’s comfort and engagement on trips.
- Maintain and organize the child’s play area, toys, and clothing.
Requirements
- Experience: Extensive experience working with toddlers, supporting their cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- Languages: Fluent English is essential. Native English, Spanish, or German preferred.
- Personality: Warm, energetic, structured, and patient, with a genuine passion for toddler care.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, a proactive and creative approach to childcare.
- Swimming: Confident swimmer, as the role involves accompanying the child in the family’s indoor pool when needed.
- Active & Engaging: Must be energetic and hands-on, organizing both indoor and outdoor play and proactively researching new activities and entertainment.
- Passport: EU passport or residency permit required for ease of travel and legal compliance.
