A private international family based on the French Riviera is seeking a warm, mature, and emotionally intelligent Teen Companion / Educational Support professional to provide a supportive presence for their two daughters, aged 14 and 15.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a thoughtful and attentive individual who enjoys working with adolescents and understands the importance of creating a calm, structured, and reassuring environment during the teenage years.

The successful candidate will play an important role in the family’s daily routine by providing a steady and supportive presence after school, offering conversation, guidance, and practical support while ensuring the girls’ well-being and comfort within the family home.

This position is best suited to someone naturally caring, discreet, and emotionally aware, who can build trust with teenagers while maintaining appropriate boundaries and professionalism within a private household environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing a daily after-school presence for the two teenagers within the family residence
• Ensuring the girls’ well-being, comfort, and safety during the afternoon and evening hours
• Building a natural and respectful relationship based on trust, open communication, and mutual respect
• Offering guidance, conversation, and general support with daily routines and responsibilities
• Helping maintain a calm, structured, and positive atmosphere within the home
• Supporting the teenagers in organising their schedules, school responsibilities, and personal routines when appropriate
• Being present in the home when the parents are travelling or attending evening engagements
• Occasionally remaining overnight in the residence when required to ensure supervision and continuity of care

Ideal Candidate

• Fluent in French and English
• Previous experience working with teenagers or adolescents within private households or similar environments
• Warm, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent, with a natural ability to connect with young people
• Mature, reliable, and capable of providing calm guidance when needed
• Highly discreet and respectful of privacy within a private family setting
• Well organised and comfortable maintaining structure and routine
• Professional, well-presented, and confident interacting within an international household

Requirements

• Excellent recent and contactable references
• Previous experience working with young people or families in private household environments
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule depending on family commitments
• Willingness to occasionally remain overnight when parents are travelling or attending evening engagements
• Candidates already based in Monaco or the French Riviera are preferred
