Overview:
We are delighted to be working with a returning client—a lovely, high-profile UHNW European family known for being exceptional employers, as shown by the long tenure of their private and business staff. They are urgently seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator and Assistant to the Personal/Executive Assistant (PA/EA) to manage construction projects and assist with a variety of household and property needs. This role is based in Marbella, with occasional travel required to support the PA/EA as needed. Initially, the main construction projects will be carried out in Marbella and the Canary Islands.
The successful candidate will work closely with the current PA/EA, who oversees all the family’s properties, personal, and business matters. The ideal profile is a team player who can seamlessly adapt to different tasks and responsibilities, providing efficient, discreet, and proactive support in both construction coordination and general household and family office management.
Key Responsibilities:
– Construction Project Coordination: Assist with all construction and renovation projects across the family’s properties, managing timelines, budgets, permits, and contractor relations.
– Property Modifications: Work closely with the principal, who enjoys regularly updating and renovating their properties. Provide support for ongoing home improvements and changes.
– Permit & Compliance Management: Oversee permit applications and ensure compliance with local regulations for all property projects.
– Collaborative Support: Liaise with architects, interior designers, and contractors, while maintaining clear communication with the PA/EA and family office regarding project progress and any arising needs.
– Collaboration & Project Execution: Work closely with the Principals to understand and interpret their vision for property enhancements and renovations. Collaborate closely with the current PA/EA to select construction companies and contractors, manage budgets, and oversee the planning and execution of each project. This role requires regular coordination with the PA/EA to ensure smooth communication and alignment on all construction and property-related tasks.
– Household and Staff Support: Support the current PA/EA with household and property management tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and continuity during any periods of absence.
– Flexible Assistance: Aside from coordinating construction projects, provide adaptable, ad-hoc assistance to the current PA/EA and the family as needed, ensuring efficient and discreet handling of any additional requests.
– Occasional Travel: Availability for occasional travel to other properties, particularly when the PA/EA is unavailable.
Candidate Profile:
– Construction/Architecture Background: A degree in Architecture, Technical Architecture, or a related field is preferred. A passion for construction, renovations and architecture is required.
– Adaptable & Supportive: Willing to provide assistance with any tasks related to the PA/EA and the family, going beyond construction coordination as needed.
– Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and contractor relations with a high level of precision and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:
– Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in construction coordination, architecture, or a similar field within a UHNW private family setting or a reputable construction company or architecture studio is essential.
– Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential. German is a plus.
– Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Marbella and Costa del Sol, and a reliable network of contacts in the area for sourcing contractors and resources.
– Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is essential.
– Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using project management software, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms.
– Availability: Ability to start immediately due to the urgency of this position.
On Offer:
– Competitive salary of €90,000 – €120,000 gross per year, based on experience.
– A company car will be provided for professional use.
– Respectful and supportive working environment, with core working hours from 9 am to 6 pm.
