Job Overview:

An exclusive opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join a brand-new, luxury wellness and fitness centre in Marbella. Specializing in Lagree Fitness—a revolutionary, high-intensity, low-impact workout utilizing state-of-the-art machines imported from the US—the centre will be the first of its kind in Southern Spain. As Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the centre’s operations while helping to shape and execute the owner’s vision from the ground up.

Along with two additional fitness instructors, the chosen candidate will receive full training and certification in Lagree Fitness as part of their onboarding. It has yet to be decided, but the training will either be conducted onsite in Marbella by an instructor flown in from the US, or the Manager and two additional instructors will be flown to Dubai for 2 to 3 weeks to complete the certification. A background in fitness is essential, and prior experience with Pilates is a significant advantage, as it will make learning the Lagree method easier.

This exciting role also includes the management of an attached café offering homemade, healthy food and beverages, designed to complement the wellness experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fitness centre, including scheduling, customer service, and team management.
• Class Instruction: Instruct fitness classes (Lagree Fitness certification provided) and offer guidance to clients.
• Staff Supervision: Manage and mentor a small team of fitness instructors, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier client experience.
• Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a personalized and luxurious experience for each member.
• Café Oversight: Oversee the wellness café operations, ensuring a high standard of service and product quality.
• Brand Development: Work closely with the owner to implement the brand’s vision, contributing ideas for growth and development.
• Event & Membership Promotion: Assist with promotional efforts, events, and membership drives to attract and retain a high-end clientele.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Proven experience in fitness, wellness, or similar management roles. A background in Pilates or related disciplines is a strong advantage.
• Education & Certifications: A degree in sports, fitness, or related fields is highly desirable. Experience in Lagree Fitness is not required, as full training will be provided.
• Languages: English is essential, with Spanish and/or German considered a strong advantage.
• Personality: A personable, energetic individual who can build rapport with both staff and clients. Someone who works well under pressure and shares a positive dynamic with the business owner.
• Leadership Skills: Strong team leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing operations.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous with operational tasks, ensuring all services meet the centre’s high standards of luxury.
• Flexibility: Able to adapt to the evolving needs of a new business and help shape its success.
