Overview:

A lovely, informal, fully staffed private household in Marbella is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their established and close-knit team. The household consists of a family of five and three live-in nannies, supported by a professional team of housekeepers working under a Head Housekeeper. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced housekeeper who takes pride in high standards and is looking for a stable, long-term role in a respectful and positive working environment. The family is known for being kind, fair, and appreciative of their staff, and the home has an extremely low turnover — a true sign of an excellent employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Housekeeping:
  • Cleaning and maintaining all living areas to a high standard
  • Ensuring bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas are spotless and well-presented at all times
  • Following daily and weekly cleaning schedules set by the Head Housekeeper
• Laundry & Wardrobe Care:
  • Washing, ironing, steaming, and folding clothing to a professional level
  • Caring for delicate fabrics and luxury garments
  • Organising wardrobes and linen cupboardsManaging bed linen and towel rotation

Team Support:

• Working closely with the Head Housekeeper and the rest of the housekeeping team
• Supporting team members when needed during busy periods
• Maintaining a positive attitude and being a reliable team player

Candidate Profile:

• Experience:
  • Proven experience working as a housekeeper in private households or luxury environments
  • Strong background in high-standard cleaning and laundry care
  • Ability to work independently while respecting team structures
• Skills:
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional laundry skills (a must)
  • Knowledge of high-end finishes and correct cleaning procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain consistency in standards
• Personal Attributes:
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
  • Organised and proactive
  • Friendly, respectful, and easy to work with
  • Looking for long-term stability and commitment
  • Able to take direction well from the Head Housekeeper

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience as housekeeper in HNW or UHNW residences. High-end hotel or yacht experience highly valued.
• Own car & driving license (the residence cannot be accessed by public transport)
• Must already be located in Marbella or nearby with the ability to commute daily
• Previous references from private households or similar roles
• Legal right to work in Spain
