Schedule: Rota position – 24-hour cover, 3 weeks on/off

Two Boys (3 & 2) | Informal, Relaxed, Fully Staffed Home | Jan/Feb Start | Long-Term Role

A warm, welcoming and down-to-earth family based in Cádiz is seeking a calm, grounded, and discreet rota nanny to join their household and provide exceptional care for their two energetic young boys, aged 3 and 2. This is a mixed sole and shared charge position within an informal yet fully staffed home, where collaboration, communication and mutual respect are essential. The family travels frequently within Europe, so the successful candidate will enjoy exploring new places whilst maintaining stability and routine for the children.

The boys are curious, active, outdoors-loving and full of energy, thriving with hands-on engagement, plenty of fun, consistency, and opportunities to explore. The family is looking for a nanny who is warm, playful and genuinely engaged, yet also emotionally intelligent, observant and low-ego.

Someone who can bring a soothing, steady presence to match the pace of two active toddlers. The ideal candidate will be able to read the room, judge when to step forward and when to step back, and work smoothly within a team, including the other nanny and broader household staff.

The parents value positive behaviour management, clear boundaries and an encouraging children, good stamina, flexibility, and a proactive, can-do attitude are essential. No drama, no ego, simply someone who loves their work, is reliable, and brings harmony rather than noise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a nurturing, structured and engaging environment for both children
  • Child-related PA duties such as organising schedules, ordering essentials, etc
  • Travelling with the family and adapting plans with ease and positivity
  • Planning age-appropriate activities, outings and educational experiences
  • Supporting sibling bonding, emotional development and social skills
  • Researching learning opportunities, days out, clubs and local activities
  • Creating and maintaining a daily routine, including mealtimes, play, rest and outdoor time coordinating with the other nannies

Requirements:

  • Fluent English (essential) — clear communication is a key part of the role. A second language is desirable but not essential.
  • EU passport / Spanish residency / legal right to work in Spain
  • Experience with toddlers and within UHNW staffed households
  • Proven experience working on rotation
  • Confident to travel, comfortable with new environments, and able to maintain consistency on the move
  • A genuine love of working with young children, and a calm, grounded personal demeanour
