Live-Out Housekeeper — Formal UHNW Household, Monaco

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: 4.000€ net per month

Schedule:

• 5 days on, 2 days off

• 8-hour rotating shifts starting at 6:30am, 9:00am, or 1:00pm / Weekly rotas provided in advance

• Candidates must be fully flexible, available to work weekends, and able to cover any of the listed shifts as required

Only candidates with their own motorbike or those living within walking distance can be considered, as public transportation in the area does not operate frequently enough to reliably cover all shift start times.

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Live-Out Housekeeper to join a fully staffed, formal, high-standard UHNW residence in Monaco. The household is formal and well-structured, home to a family with children and run by a dedicated management team. This is a live-out role, and candidates must already reside within a commutable distance to Monaco.

The role involves working as part of a tight-knit team of housekeepers. .

Teamwork and professionalism are essential. The home operates with clear systems in place, and while the family and team value the ability to be very proactive, hands-on and work independently, the ability to collaborate effectively within a structured team is key. While interaction with the family is minimal, when present, discretion, courtesy, and formality are expected at all times.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping to the highest standards
• Caring for fine surfaces and delicate finishes, furniture and linens (training provided)
• Ensuring all areas remain organised and guest-ready
• Laundry and ironing duties, with special attention paid to high-end fabrics and linens
• The ability to cook light meals if the Chef is not available is highly valued

Candidate profile:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high-end private homes. Any additional experience in luxury hotels, or yachts is highly valued.
• Fluent English is required; conversational French is a plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Motivated, fast and self-starter
• Excellent housekeeping and laundry capabilities are essential
• Discreet, professional, and adaptable, able to work calmly during both busy and quiet periods, and maintain a polished presence within the team

Other requirements:

• Already living near Monaco (no relocation or accommodation provided)
• Must have own motorbike or live walking distance from Monaco
• Valid EU passport or legal residency (Carte de Séjour) registered near Monaco for work permit.
