Location: Marbella, Spain

Daily Rate: €350–450 gross/day (24-hour cover) or €200 gross/day (12-hour cover)

Dates: 30 January 2026 – 1 May 2026 (3 months) with potential extension from 1 October 2026 – 1 April 2027 (subject to mutual fit)

Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off

Possible Schedule Structures:

• Option 1: 12-hour days (approximately 7:00am–7:00pm) for the full duration of the booking

• Option 2 (rotational):

  • 2 weeks of 12-hour cover (when the mother-in-law is present and covering nights)

  • 2 weeks of 24-hour cover (when the mother-in-law is not present)

  Candidates who can flex between 12-hour and 24-hour cover if required will be prioritised.

Overview

An international family spending three months in Marbella is seeking a warm, adaptable, and easy-going temporary live-out nanny to care for their 2.5-year-old daughter.

There is also a newborn in the household; however, the newborn is cared for directly by the mother and grandmother. The nanny’s sole responsibility will be the toddler.

English is the family’s second language, and they are keen to find a native English-speaking nanny who can naturally support and strengthen the child’s English vocabulary and language development through play and daily interaction.

If the booking goes well, there is strong potential for a further 6-month booking later in the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, age-appropriate nursery duties and care for a 2.5-year-old child

• Supporting English language development through play, conversation, reading, and daily routines

• Planning and engaging in stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities

• Encouraging curiosity, communication, and confidence

• Maintaining a calm, warm, and structured environment

• Working collaboratively alongside a hands-on mother

• Adapting smoothly to changes in schedule when required

• Preparing meals and snacks for the child when the chef is not on duty

Requirements

• Native English speaker essential

• Proven experience working with toddlers of a similar age

• Paediatric First Aid essential

•  Must drive and have own car

• Must be based locally in Marbella / Málaga area

• Childcare or teaching qualifications preferred

• Warm, flexible, easy-going, and emotionally attuned
