Salary: Up to $70,000 gross/year payable across the full year, with active work expected for approximately six months.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm (Full-time 6 months per year, on-call 6 months per year, full yearly salary paid.

Supervises: Newborn Baby Girl (October 2025) and occasionally 5-year-old girl
Overview:
A warm, calm, professional nanny is sought to care for a newborn baby girl for a lovely international family based between New York City and Europe. The role is full-time only while the family is in in NYC (roughly 6 months of the year), remaining free but on-call during their time abroad. Occasional care of the family’s 5-year-old daughter may also be required, particularly during travel or school holidays.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for newborns and infants, follow developmental milestones, and support gentle routines already in place. The family desires a loving, flexible presence and they values structure, maturity, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, age-appropriate care for newborn baby.
- Support feeding, sleeping, and developmental routines with consistency and warmth.
- Prepare baby’s bottles, meals (as needed), and handle sterilisation and hygiene with attention to detail.
- Occasionally support the care of the family’s 5-year-old daughter as needed.
- Travel-readiness for occasional trips or international stays (with advance notice).
- Offer guidance and support as the baby transitions through developmental stages.
- Communicate clearly with the parents and other household staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience caring for newborns/infants in private households (minimum 3–5 years).
- Be based in the area and valid driving license.
- Valid EU passport or right to work and travel within Schengen highly preferred but not essential.
- Native English. Fluent Danish or Spanish a huge plus.
- Up-to-date first aid and infant CPR certification.
- Professional, trustworthy, and emotionally mature.
- Comfortable working alongside a governess and other household staff.
